About Summer House Season 1 Episode 9
Original Air Date: March 6, 2017
Episode Title: The No Good, Very Bad Rose Day (Season 1, Episode 9)
Episode Summary – Summer House Season 1, Episode 9: “The No Good, Very Bad Rose Day”
In this Summer House Season 1 Episode 9 recap, the episode kicks off mid-fight, with Christina once again in the hot seat for “meddling” in Lauren and Carl’s situationship. Tears are shed and insults are hurled. Carl and Lauren continue their familiar flirt-to-fight-to-flirt cycle, while Ashley hobbles through her final days in Montauk, deeply over all of it. Meanwhile, Kyle’s still spiraling in his post-Amanda phase, drunkenly kissing Jaclyn, forgetting Darya’s name, and claiming he’s fighting between his brain and his… other brain.
At a mansion party that could only be described as a rosé-fueled fever dream, emotions boil over. Christina tries to defend herself, but gets steamrolled by Lindsay, Ashley, and even Kyle – who’s too drunk to referee. By brunch, Christina attempts a tearful truce, while Kyle decides to bring Amanda out for the final weekend, despite hooking up with half the cast. The only thing more unclear than these relationships? Where everyone’s actually sleeping.
Who We Are: Last to the Party, But First in Your Bravo Queue
We’re Megan and Wendy – real-life best friends and seasoned podcasters. Our podcast Last to the Party was born out of a long-winded, laugh-filled debate about Summer House Season 9 during one of our monthly Pop Culture Club episodes on Patreon. And suddenly a lightbulb went off – why not start a Summer House rewatch podcast?

Wendy is our resident Bravo historian – she’s been here since the early days of Real Housewives and can recall every iconic feud, unforgettable quote, and off-camera drama like she’s flipping through a well-worn scrapbook. Her deep knowledge adds the context and expert insight that makes each rewatch richer.
Megan, on the other hand, is a little newer to the Bravo universe. She’s dipped in and out over the years – maybe a season here, a franchise there – but her fresh perspective and candid reactions bring the kind of delightful surprises and unexpected laughs that even longtime fans will love.
Together, we’ve spent over 15 years creating content side by side, most recently as the duo behind the hit podcast Girls Gone Hallmark. With Last to the Party, we’re channeling that same natural chemistry and unfiltered commentary into the world of Bravo.
