Summer House Season 1 Episode 6 Recap: Mullets and Mess
Welcome back to Last to the Party, where Megan and Wendy wade into the wine-fueled drama in this Summer House Season 1 Episode 6 recap. What starts as a surprise birthday bash for Kyle quickly devolves into a full-blown Summer House meltdown where candles are blown out, tempers are lit, and no one leaves the party unscathed. Lindsay and Everett’s on-again-off-again chaos hits a new high (or low?), Christina brings her mess to the beach by serving up gossip, and Jaclyn’s “model behavior” earns her a cold shoulder from Lauren. Plus, the Wirkus twins unleash their parents on Carl — who is expertly selling the boyfriend fantasy. Buckle up, Bravo fans — this episode is more chaotic than Kyle after three Loverboys.

Episode Title: “Model Behavior” (Season 1, Episode 6)
Episode Summary – Summer House Season 1, Episode 6: “Model Behavior”
In this Summer House Season 1 Episode 6 recap, tensions boil over as the roommates bounce from beach days to birthday drama. Kyle returns just in time to celebrate his 34th with a surprisingly sweet mullet-themed party, but the good vibes are short-lived. Lindsay and Everett spiral once again, this time over a harmless comment that turns into a full-blown fight. Christina fuels the fire at Model Volleyball by spilling tea about Carl and Jaclyn, putting Lauren in the awkward position of choosing who to blame (spoiler: she doesn’t blame Carl). Meanwhile, Stephen feels increasingly disconnected from the house, and Christina’s meddling starts to wear thin on just about everyone.
By episode’s end, relationships are fraying. Carl meets Lauren’s family and does his best “boyfriend audition,” while Lindsay freaks out after Everett ghosts her overnight. In the city, Stephen’s lackluster date and Lindsay’s emotional email to Everett show that the drama isn’t confined to the Hamptons. Add in a dramatic reveal about Kyle’s hook-up with Katie (thanks to Christina), and you’ve got a recipe for chaos. The cracks in this friend group are starting to show, and if this Summer House episode proves anything, it’s that hangovers aren’t the only thing these housemates are nursing.
Who We Are: Last to the Party, But First in Your Bravo Queue
We’re Megan and Wendy – real-life best friends and seasoned podcasters. Our podcast Last to the Party was born out of a long-winded, laugh-filled debate about Summer House Season 9 during one of our monthly Pop Culture Club episodes on Patreon. And suddenly a lightbulb went off – why not start a Summer House rewatch podcast?

Wendy is our resident Bravo historian – she’s been here since the early days of Real Housewives and can recall every iconic feud, unforgettable quote, and off-camera drama like she’s flipping through a well-worn scrapbook. Her deep knowledge adds the context and expert insight that makes each rewatch richer.
Megan, on the other hand, is a little newer to the Bravo universe. She’s dipped in and out over the years – maybe a season here, a franchise there – but her fresh perspective and candid reactions bring the kind of delightful surprises and unexpected laughs that even longtime fans will love.
Together, we’ve spent over 15 years creating content side by side, most recently as the duo behind the hit podcast Girls Gone Hallmark. With Last to the Party, we’re channeling that same natural chemistry and unfiltered commentary into the world of Bravo.
